MEET DOC THALMAN
Dr. Trent Thalman was born in Salt Lake City Utah and raised in Richfield, Utah. He spent his days hunting, camping in the hills, playing baseball, and working at the local movie theater.
It was his dream to pursue a career centered around serving others. He grew up watching his father bless the lives of many through his service as a physical therapist. This instilled in him a desire for an occupation that could change lives. He served as a missionary in Vancouver, British Columbia. After his mission, he attended Snow College, Southern Utah University, and Utah Valley University.
Dr. Thalman attended dental school at Indiana University, graduating with the highest distinction, second in his class. He and his family were thrilled to continue his education at Saint Louis University where he saw the Cardinals win the World Series in 2006! He is a big Cardinals fan! He received his master’s degree and specialized in orthodontics at Saint Louis University. Through his dental education, Dr. Thalman volunteered to care for children and the disabled. He also conducted original cancer research that was presented at the International Association for Dental Research Meeting in Hawaii. Dr. Thalman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Utah Dental Association.
Dr. Thalman is married and has 5 daughters and 2 sons! (recently added..2 son-in-laws) He is the perfect girl dad and is an expert in chick flicks, ponytails, and dance recitals. One of his favorite pastimes is fishing with his 2 younger sons.
He and his wife Debbie love living near the beautiful red hills of their hometown of Richfield, UT. Dr. Thalman loves to fish, garden, watch sports with his boys, and spend time with his family. Dr. Thalman is a lifelong learner. He continually seeks to learn, grow, and advance in his career and has a state-of-the-art orthodontic practice. Not only does he know a lot about orthodontics, he knows a lot about everything as he reads, studies, and shares knowledge with those around him. He is passionate about serving people through orthodontics and loves to give people beautiful smiles!
